Introducing Richard Kang

Born in South Korea in Nam Won, Richard was the youngest of eight children. After college he attended university in Seoul where he completed his Bachelor of Marketing. His first position held was Purchasing Manager of a large department store. He stayed with this company for 12 years growing and expanding.

He moved into corporate banking and was Marketing Manager for the next five years. He immigrated to New Zealand with his wife and two children in 2005. For the first two years after arriving, he set up his own business cooking traditional Korean food. This was an extremely successful business – catering for restaurants, shops and private buyers supplying all over the greater Auckland area.

Richard commenced real estate in September 2006 with the Milford office of Ray White. In this time Richard has proved himself to be an outstanding salesperson. His ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds and walks of life has enabled him to become one of Ray White’s top performers. His large network of business contacts from his Korean bakery business has ensured a large number of clients want to deal with Richard. Richard is passionate about real estate and is professional in all his dealings, his marketing degree has ensured properties are marketed with maximum exposure, giving the best results.
